We had a great Fourth of July weekend in Idaho visiting my family. On the Fourth, we went to the Rexburg parade with my Grandma. Above is a picture I took of Dave and Parker intently watching the parade in their flag t-shirts. Parker absolutely LOVES being with his dad . . . and I love taking pictures of them together.
Here I am with Parker waiting for the parade to start - and below is a picture of my Grandma, Mom. and Dad. I wish I could see them more often - it is always great to be with them. We had a picnic at my Grandma's house after the parade.
Here is a picture of Dave studying on my parent's back porch. I have been so impressed with how well he has learned how to organize his time since he's been in school. Two more weeks and he will have his MBA! I'm not sure if he's more excited or I am - but Parker and I are looking forward to seeing him more often.
My Dad bought this nifty tire swing that was made to look like a horse. It is hanging from his barn and all his grandkids love it! Below are pictures of Parker and my niece Wynter swinging on the horse! Parker loves Wynter - she got to spend a few days at our house and she definately won Parker over. We loved having her here! I'm not sure how I missed getting a picture of my nephew Lukas on the tire swing - he is absolutely obsessed with swinging lately. Sorry Shauna - I'll be sure to get some cute pictures of him this next weekend!
We had a great weekend and are looking forward to more time to be spent with family this summer!

PS- You should sign up on Shelfari--it's such a great site to help you keep track of books you've read and books you want to read. I feel like I've been reading more books and better books since I joined. Bonnie and Joy and Rivka and lots of fun people are one there, too!
Idaho is definitely the place to be on the Fourth! It seems like every year we have something going on that keeps us in Utah on the 4th of July. Maybe next year. :) I love the pictures! You have a beautiful little family!
Looks like you had a fun 4th, we missed you in Utah though! I love the picture of Dave and Parker...it gets me excited to see Bryan as a daddy! Dave looks like a natural now!
