We're looking forward to the ultrasound in about two weeks. Dave and I would be so excited to have a girl so we would have one of each, but we would also love to have another boy that would be so close in age to Parker. We are just hoping for a healthy report and we will be thrilled with either gender . . . by the way, I can only speak for both of us because Dave already has one little boy. When we went in for Parker's ultrasound, it was a different story. Dave said to the technician, "See if you can make it a boy."
There you go - our exciting news. We will keep you posted and let you all know how things are going. I've also included some recent pictures we have taken. These are pictures of Parker chowing down on his newly discovered favorite food: tomatoes, yep you read that correctly, tomatoes. We had a pretty decent amount of tomatoes from our garden this year. One day I was washing them for dinner and Parker started going crazy and pointing at them. I said, "okay, but you're not going to like them." Kids don't like tomatoes, right? Wrong! This kid gobbled up the entire thing and begged for more. So he's been getting tomatoes for his snacks lately. I had to take some pictures, because I'm not naive enough to believe this will last (I'm hoping, but not holding my breath). So in about five years, when he is picking the tomatoes out of his dinner, I will pull out these pictures and try to convince him of his love for this healthy food!
Here are some cute pictures of my nephews and nieces who came over the other night. They carved their own pumpkin and it was so much fun! We're so glad that Jenny and Jordan live close now - and that they let us borrow their kids! We love spending time with them.
This is their youngest, Levi. He is the most mellow, sweet, easy-going baby I have ever seen! Throw in the fact that he is adorable, and you have the perfect little baby.

Congratulations! You look great - I'm so glad that you're feeling well.
Congrats again! And those pics of Parker are great! Children are always full of suprises. Ella has been a vegetable girl since she started eating solid foods. She picks tomatoes out of everything, but not to set them aside, rather so that she can eat them first! She loved to pick the cucumbers out of the garden and eat them like a huge carrot. She ate ALL our peas. She even eats corn right off the cob - the whole thing! And of course, she loves carrots and "dip." Oh, isn't it great to discover new things with our children!
Congratulations Candace!! I hope you start feeling better! I was just tired my whole first trimester, so I was lucky! I bet Parker will be a great big brother!!
Wow! Congrats! Garry would pick tomatoes from his garden and eat them on the grass starting when he was about 2. He still loves tomatoes. Good luck with the pregnancy.
Ooh--I wish i could get my kids to eat tomatoes. Even their favorite Charlie and Lola episode ("I will never, not ever eat a tomato") has not helped them.
Congratulations on your pregnancy! Knowing you, you're one of the best moms ever, and this baby is lucky to be part of your family!
Congrats again, Candace!! Our first 2 are just 18 months apart and we love it. They are such good friends, and they always have someone to play with. It's the best. Hope you have a healthy pregnancy.
Congratulations! That is one lucky kid to be coming to such a great family. I hope everything stays nice and normal for you. Yea!
