I have some pictures to post, but due to an unexpected trip we need to make to Idaho this weekend, I've been busy getting packed among other things. So I'll save the Halloween pictures and some other good ones for when we return. I just thought I'd let you all know that the
reason
we're
beyond
excited
is
because . . .
WE'RE HAVING A GIRL!!
We would have been beyond excited to have a boy too, but I am very happy to even up the count around here. Dave kept telling me he felt like it was a girl, but I didn't want to think about it too much, because I wanted to be so excited for either. When we got the news, he didn't look surprised, and I could tell he was also very excited in a reserved kind of way. Right after the ultrasound, he stopped me and said, "Um, I've been thinking, I don't know what to do with a girl." I replied, "I do!" Then I assured him, he would be fine. I have no doubt that this little girl will be his princess the second she is born. We are most of all grateful that she looked healthy and we feel very blessed. So I guess we'll get in the mode of thinking pink!

Congratulation!!!! And I think you are right, your little girl will have Dave wrapped around her little finger from the moment she makes her entrance into the world. Daddys have something specical with their daughters.
Amen to having Dave wrapped around her little finger. When my niece was a baby, just about the only person who could put her to sleep without any difficulty was her daddy.
Congrats!
Congrats - we are so excited for you. Chris always wanted GIRLS and now he has two - and believe me, they have him wrapped around their fingers - especially Loren - a TOTAL and complete Daddy's girl -it is cool to see. Yeah - can't wait to send you some girlie gifts. Any names picked out yet???
P.s. hope everything is okay in IDAHO!
Yay! Congrats congrats! She will be so well received, are you kidding me? How fun to prepare for a girl! We're so excited for you guys.
Yay!!!!!
You're gonna love it, Candace! And this post was so sweet and well-written--definitely print it out and tuck it in pink-baby-Snedaker's journal. :)
Oh Candace! That is so exciting. Girls are a blast!!!
I had a "feeling" my second baby was a girl too, and she was. I had guessed right with my boy too, but I was dead wrong on Sophie (our baby). I was sure she was a boy the whole 9 months. (We didn't find out the gender at the ultrasound) HA! It took a while to get used to the idea of a girl once she was here. Hehehe
Hope you're feeling good.

Congrats! I love my little girl! She is so much fun! Plus it is such a BLAST to dress them! Girls clothes are a lot more fun to shop for than boys!! She will have her dad wrapped around her finger the second she is born!!
Candace, I am so excited for you! I can't believe you, me, Kim, and Joni are all having kids in the same school year. How fun!! Congratulations!
