We took this picture our first night at the resort. We couldn't get over how beautiful the Florida sunsets were.
This is Parker and I in front of our favorite swimming pool. The first time we swam here, we were the only ones in the pool for part of the time. The weather was perfect, the sun was setting, and we had this beautiful pool to ourselves! Dave would throw Parker up in the air and Parker couldn't get enough. It was one of our favorite nights of the vacation. This picture will have to take the place of a swimming picture of myself - I just couldn't bring myself to post myself in a swimming suit on my blog!!
I, however, have no qualms about posting swimming pictures of my husband - although most of him is under water. This is at a different pool - still so beautiful.
Parker couldn't get in enough crawling in the shallow part of the pool. He seriously had the time of his life as her crawled around. The only problem was that he couldn't quite grasp the fact that he couldn't breathe with his face in the water. He would crawl full speed into the deeper part of the pool and no matter how many times we rescued him, he continued to head toward deeper waters!
This is Dave just chillin' after our swim - it really was paradise.
This is Parker petting the Lego dog at Downtown Disney. This is my kind of dog . . . if only I could talk Dave into agreeing with me. He wants a dog so badly, but I don't. Parker seemed completely content with this one though!!
Parker fell in love with a Minnie Mouse doll at the Christmas store. Everytime we passed one on the shelf, he would pull it down and refuse to let go. It was hilarious! I was tempted to get him one, but you can imagine how Dave felt about buying his manly child a doll in a red dress. So we got him a little stuffed Pluto instead . . . actually I was fine with it because it was much cheaper . . . and maybe Pluto can count as us getting a dog . . . wishful thinking.
Here we are standing by the Lake. It was a beautiful night at Downtown Disney.
This was our last night of vacation when we went out to dinner. It was the perfect ending to a wonderful trip. Maybe I can post more pictures later when my child is not grabbing at all the computer keys! It really was a wonderful trip and we'll always be grateful for the memories. I loved Florida, but it is always nice to come home! We love this time of year and we're looking forward to the holidays!

Looks like you had lots of fun. As far as Parker liking a girl doll, we have abosuletly no problem with that...at least Jacob doesn't. He just gave up DW a few months ago.
Yay, Candace! What a fun trip--I loved your thoughts about (not) getting a dog . . . that Lego dog is pretty amazing.
What a perfect way to celebrate graduation!
Oh can i say that i am totally jealous. We need a vacation really bad before we are in thick of the holiday and then tax season. I just want to get to disneyland but can't imagine doing it with 3 little little ones. The car ride alone might put me over the edge.
Looks like you guys had a blast and a much needed getaway. Parker is a water baby, hugh!! So cute! I am totally with ya on the dog thing but lucky for me, my hubby is in agreement!! Take care - we miss you guys!
Oh that looked fabulous. I keep nudging Landon to book a trip somewhere warm, but I think I will just have to book it myself if I ever want to go someplace like that again. Way to go on having that kind of adventure together as a family!
Oh, it looks like you had so much fun. I love the pic of Parker in the shallow part of the pool by himself. I am glad that you guys had a fun time. Next time,I am coming.
We are so excited for you guys! Good for Dave for working so hard to get his MBA-what an accomplishment! We already find ourselves counting down the days til Bry gets done...so long to go! What a trip! Looked like so much fun! I need a vacation...
What a great way to celebrate graduation. It looks like you had so much fun!
what a fun trip to paradise =)
See Candace...that's why I believe that the whole "whether or not you want a dog" conversation needs to happen early on in a relationship...before marriage and kids come along to complicate things. I think I tried to warn you though so don't blame anyone but yourself. I would stick to your guns though...get Parker a fish tank or somthing...much cleaner and not as stinky as a dog. NO TO THE DOGS!
Wow, what a fun and amazing trip! You guys deserve it for sure! I can't imagine how hard that would have been to have Dave gone and busy all the time! Grady thinks about it a lot, but I don't think I could bear to have him away so much! So good for you guys! By the way, we need to make sure and meet up at our Halloween day at Goldman Sachs! It would be much more fun if we showed up at the same time! let me know if you are going! :)
