We’ve decided to post our Christmas letter on our blog this year, so we hope you enjoy!
This year has been a good year for our family and we feel grateful for all of the blessings we’ve enjoyed. We love the Christmas season and all that it represents. Here is a little of what we’ve been up to:
Dave was able to finish graduate school in July and graduated from the University of Utah with his Master’s in Business Administration. He worked long hours at work and then would attend night class. We are so proud of his diligence and accomplishment. He also has been excelling at work and when it came time for the yearly reviews, he was told he “exceeded expectations” in every category. He is very respected at work and has had more leadership responsibilities that have been very satisfying. He is enjoying his calling as the financial clerk for our ward and enjoys the associations and friendships he has developed through this calling. He is an excellent dad, taking time daily to play and be with Parker. He is also an exceptional husband and is always putting his family and others before himself.
I have been busy taking care of Parker and keeping up with the house! I have also been able to tutor a couple of students from home and have found that to be rewarding. I am currently serving as a Relief Society teacher and have enjoyed the challenge and opportunity to study and prepare lessons. I love being a mom and look forward to our little girl due at the beginning of April.
Parker is BUSY!! His favorite activity is to play catch and would play all day if someone would humor him that long. Not only does he throw his collection of balls around, but everything else he can get his hands on, including food, cell phones, dishes, clothes, anything! His other hobbies include playing with cars, being read to, playing hide-and-go-seek (luckily for us, he always hides in the same spot) and he loves to play in the toilet . . . but we’ve been trying to discourage that pastime! He is a happy little boy and has brought us more joy than we ever could have imagined. We feel so blessed to have him in our family.
That is a quick summary of what we’ve been up to. We hope you are all doing well and are enjoying the Christmas season. We are grateful for your friendship. We are very grateful for the Savior and know that He is the reason that we enjoy so many blessings. We are grateful for our knowledge of Him and we know that He lives and loves us.

I thought for a minute while reading your Christmas letter that I was reading something I wrote. It's strange, but Kirk is the financial clerk in our stake and I'm a relief society teacher too. HA! Eerie... :D
It's so good to hear how all is going with you and your cute family. Good luck with your pregnancy. April is an awesome time to have a baby!
