Today was a very eventful day at our house.  Kambri had her first bath without screaming!  Therefore, I was not a nervous wreck as I bathed her.  Thanks to my friend Mindy who commented on a previous post, Kambri seemed very content in the tub today.  Mindy suggested that I wrap her up in a receiving blanket and then put her in the tub.  It worked like magic.  Parker also enjoyed his bath . . . and didn't even seem to notice his sister sitting behind him.

Today was also my first trip to the grocery store with two kids.  Ever since I found out I was expecting Kambri, I worried how I would buy groceries with two kids.  I know that many people go grocery shopping with more than two children, and I knew that I would adjust and it would be fine, I was just worried about getting it all figured out!  Luckily both kids did great and we will not go hungry because I successfully purchased groceries.  Here is Kambri all dressed up and ready to go to the store!

Today we also discovered an inflatable beach ball in our closet, so I blew it up and it was a hit with Parker.  He and I had a great time kicking it and playing catch in the back yard while Kambri took a nap inside.  Parker was so funny . . . at one point, I got tired and sat down in the grass with hopes we could play catch while sitting.  He wouldn't have it and made me stand up to play with him.  I think he is doing his best to help me lose the baby weight!!  Also, if you look closely, you can see the new summer sandals I got for him today at the store.  You might also notice the socks he is wearing with them . . . he would NOT let me take his socks off to wear the sandals.  We'll have to work on that one.  He did, however, love the new sandals and even wore them to bed when he took his nap!

Candace--she is absolutely an angel! Has it already been three weeks? How are you feeling?

I bet Parker loves her, and I know that you and Dave do. Keep the pictures coming!

You're making my blog look bad! I have been such a slacker lately! I LOVE the idea to wrap him in a blanket before bathing him. I will try that, he still hates baths. Cute, cute, cute pictures! I agree, it's good to keep things updated. Did you know you can make your blog into a scrapbook on a website? If you're interested, let me know and I can tell you where to go...
