We're still alive!

Yep, we're still alive and doing well . . . and wanting to recommit to doing better on the blog.  I always recommit and do well for a while and then the vicious cycle starts:  I miss a few days of blogging and then I just keep putting it off because I don't feel like I have time for catch-up!  Oh well, here are a few pictures of what we've been up to.  We are having SO much fun with Parker and Kambri!  We feel very blessed.

Kambri Kay was blessed on May 3, 2009 along with her cousin Hailey.  It was such a special day that we will always remember.  This is a picture of my sister-in-law Kathryn and myself with our beautiful little girls!

This was our first attempt at a family picture on the blessing day.  Neither Parker nor Kambri were very thrilled with getting their pictures taken.

Here's the story of our lives: we give Parker some type of ball and he is suddenly very content and willing to cooperate.  So here is a calm family picture with Parker holding a beloved ball.

This is Kambri on her special day . . . you can see by the look on her face that she took her blessing day very seriously.

Parker loves his sister!  I caught him just staring at her - so cute!

The other day, I got out of the shower to find Parker in the other bathroom helping me with the toilet cleaning . . . what would I do without him?

Here is Parker in one of his new favorite things: his hat!!  Last summer we couldn't keep a hat on the kid and now we can't get it off of him.  He even takes a nap with it on sometimes!

Sorry for the sideways picture, but we went up to Idaho for Memorial Day and we loved visiting Great-Grandma Winter.  She got to meet Kambri for the first time.  We enjoyed visiting the graves of Grandpa and other relatives and reflecting on how much we miss them and how grateful we are to know that we'll be with them again someday.   It was a great day even though things got cut short when it started raining!

Parker and his cousin Lukas loved visiting the neighbor's cows, fish and horses!  I didn't go with them, but I heard that Parker was mesmerized by the cows!

Here's Parker in the field outside my parents' house.  He loved being outside, looking at the animals, and having lots of room to run!  It's times like these that I wish I lived a little closer to my parents . . . but we're very happy with where we are and we'll look forward to all our Idaho visits!

Finally, our most recent picture of Kambri.  We know that we're partial, but we just can't get over how stinking cute she is!!

She totally looks like Tyler in that picture! And she really is VERY cute! She looks so big, they are growing up way too fast :( I feel like it's been forever since we've seen you guys...we need to put a stop to that!

Very cute kids! Maybe Parker can convince Tyson to wear a hat. Kambri is adorable! I can't wait to see her.
