Speaking of hair, Champ (pictured above with Kam) got a haircut. To get him groomed, we pay quadruple what I pay to get my hair cut...yep, QUADRUPLE. Usually, doggie trims aren't so expensive, but our dog has some serious hair cutting anxiety. Pet Smart won't trim him because he gets so anxious and out of control, so we take him to the groomer at our vet's office...and he still struggles. This last time they gave him two sedatives in pill form and when that wasn't sufficient, they gave him a sedative in the form of a shot...and when that didn't work, they gave him a second shot...then he finally calmed down. So $85 later, our dog is looking beautifully groomed. So while most people are looking forward to tax returns and trying to figure out how to spend their money...we just may be saving ours for future dog grooming costs...let's just say it's a good thing that I love my dog-loving husband so much...Below is our beautiful little Lyddi. Like many babies, she is sporting the sock-on-the hand look because if she gets the slightest bit fussy, she goes crazy grabbing her face. She is still happiest when I am holding her so our Baby Bjorn gets lots of use. We've also started her on some baby probiotics, hoping it helps her little tummy to settle down, so we'll see how that goes. It's funny how even when she's fussy, I think she's the most adorable little thing ever...I guess that's the perk of being her mom.
And below you'll see a picture of my other little orphan. This picture was taken this week after Parker returned from playing at our neighborhood park across the street. I was up in my room attempting a nap when he asked if he could go to the park with his friends. I was about to get up, so I told him to go ahead and I'd be able to check on him periodically from the front window. When he came back, I was incredibly thrilled to see that his hair was sticking up everywhere in the back, his clothes (that he picked out) were quite twisted and disheveled, and the best part...he had socks on with flip flops...oh, and he couldn't find his basketball so he had taken a sad little beach ball covered with permanent marker...I'm surprised child services wasn't called to pick my little orphan boy up. But hey, the kid gets fed very well so I'm not completely failing, right?

You're Super Mom, Candace! Your kids are adorable ALL of the time. It's always an adjustment with a new baby, and I'm sure number three is quite the change! This post should be shown to Mommy's everywhere. In fact, it is 4:30, we are ALL still in our jammies, I was supposed to get laundry done, but we decided we weren't ready for the weekend to end! So here we are :) Mommy's unite!!
