Well, here I go again, hoping to do better at blogging. I think having another baby and seeing how much she has changed in the past month, has made me realize how quickly things change...and how little I do to capture the moments. So here we go again...I'll do my best.
It's overall been a good week...I've been trying to get in a routine...but I've not been super successful. I've had a couple of really good days where I get up, get ready, and feel ready to get lots done...other days I feel like I'm just surviving. My wonderful mother-in-law came over one day to watch the kids/baby while I took a nap....it was heavenly.
Lyddi is doing well...she loves to be held...loves to eat...dislikes the carseat...and hates to be ignored. I believe she and her brother are kindred spirits:). We've had her on reflux medicine because she's been gagging and crying more than I feel is normal...and I could hardly sleep because she would gag so much at night. I feel like she's doing better and the medicine is helping. I'm still getting up a lot at night, but we are sleeping in between feedings, which is a huge improvement. We are just loving her though...she is so pleasant and sweet. I can't get enough of her! Here she is in the not-so-beloved carseat:

Kambri has been slightly under the weather this week with a runny nose and more tired than usual...but she is pure sunshine. Because she is content to play by herself and does not require much attention, I have felt guilty this week because she is frequently the last to get my time...but she is always smiling and sweet. She has been loving the movie Annie and keeps asking me to sing "the sun will come out tomorrow" song.
Parker has been very busy this week playing with neighbors and rotating between soccer and basketball games in the backyard/basement. He was so excited to get to watch the BYU basketball game with his Grandpa on Thursday...Daddy had to work and Mommy just isn't as fun to watch games with. Yesterday I was getting dinner on the table and he was in the backyard. He started throwing a tennis ball at the sliding glass door and because it was so loud, I opened the door about six inches to tell him to stop hitting the glass. So he aimed and threw the ball through the small opening and knocked a smoothie across the table...I didn't know if I should be frustrated with the mess or impressed with the accuracy of his aim...the rascal:)
Speaking of smoothies, we have jumped on the green smoothie bandwagon and are loving them...the taste and how good they are making us feel. Here are the kids sporting their green smoothie mustaches (the green didn't show up so much in the pics):
And here they are happily helping me sweep...not the most thorough of sweepers but definitely the cutest.
