Off the Hook

Parker and Kam have been into sea turtles lately.  Yesterday they were playing with modeling clay and I helped them create two sea turtles.  They were having a ball playing with them.  Then Parker decided to make eleven sea turtle eggs.  He came to me and said, "Mom, I made eleven sea turtle eggs.  So that means when they hatch, you need to make eleven more sea turtles."  He must have seen my concern...I was thinking about how long that would take because the two we made earlier had taken a while to get figured out.  Then Parker said, "Don't worry, mom.  You can wait to make them on a day when the house is all clean and you don't really have anything else to do."  Guess I'm off the hook.
