She helped color decorations for her party and was so excited to get everything up.
She had 9 little girls over. They played games, ate ice cream with toppings, and ran around screaming like little girls do. All the girls got fairy wings and tutus to wear. It was 1.5 hours of pure chaos....I mean fun.
There's that pig that she'll probably be sleeping with until she's married. She got those stylin' sunglasses for her birthday.
And here is the beloved Cinderella nightgown she got for her birthday. We have several other pajamas that we keep in her dresser.......and they pretty much just stay in her dresser now. Only Cinderella silkiness will do for sleeping.
And this little girl can't go on enough dates with her dad. She adores him, as do all three of our children. He is one fun daddy! As Parker would say, "Dad, it's so lame without you here." I'm so glad they love their dad.
Fun things to remember about Kambri at this age:
She hates blue (except for that silky exception pictured above). I bought her a cute shirt with blue flowers and she said, "Mom, you know I don't like blue." I should have known better.
As a natural consequence of disliking blue, she absolutely loves pink.
She sings all day long, making up songs and dancing. She loves to sing "I love to see the Temple" while I play it on the piano. And we think she has a pretty cute little voice.
She has become a very picky eater as of late. We are still trying to figure out how to handle it.....she used to eat almost anything!
She is terrified of car washes.....the kind you drive through. Funny thing is, I remember having the same fear as a child......she is so me. Poor thing. I was scared of a lot of things.
She loves dill pickles and is always asking for one. She also loves spaghetti, mac and cheese, and grilled cheese sandwiches. Her favorite fruit is strawberries and her favorite veggie is cucumbers. She always begs me to buy cucumbers at the store......hard to say no to that one.
She loves the Disney Jr. show Sofia the First. We purchased and downloaded all the Sofia songs for her birthday and she has them all memorized.
She loves to color and paint.
We have toothpaste that says it is safe to swallow. Every night when we brush her teeth, she refuses to swallow until we give her the go ahead. She will sit with the saliva/toothpaste in her mouth until we give her permission to get rid of it........every single night, without fail.
She LOVES to tease her brother.....and she usually gets away with it by acting innocent and cute, but we are starting to catch on to her sly ways.
She is so calm, can easily be reasoned with (unless we try to convince her to wear non-cinderella pajamas), and is a joy to have in our family. She is the peacemaker in our home and does not like contention. She gives the best smiles when she is trying to cheer someone up. We can't imagine life without our sweet Kambri!

You say you need new pictures of your little Kam? Let me help you with that - please?? Actually, let me help you with pictures of all of your kids. Because they are just so darn cute. :)
I agree with Whitney--your kids ARE so darn cute. And I dropped in on your adorable family to tell you thank you for never failing to make my day with your comments. I miss you, my dear! Thanks for STILL being so good at helping others feel good!
PS- I am laughing at "that pig she'll probably be sleeping with until she's married." Hilarious.
