Happy Birthday to our Little Troublemaker!

Kambri is turning one!  We can't believe how fast this past year has gone, but we sure do love our little girl.  And no, Kambri is not really a troublemaker, but she is so mellow and easy to take care of that Dave calls her "the troublemaker" just because it is so far away from the truth.  Happy Birthday Kam!

On Sunday, we had a few of Kambri's cousins over and we had birthday cupcakes . . . you can tell that we must have waited a little to long to eat them because she was looking quite tired by the time we lit her candle!

She perked right up when we gave her the instruments that we got for her birthday.  All the kids started playing with them and she had a blast being in the "band."

Here are some fun things about Kambri:
1)  She has a stuffed pink pig that she sleeps with and loves.  She is so easy to put to sleep.  We just put her in the crib and hand her the pig.  She gets a huge smile on her face, rolls over, and goes right to sleep while hugging her pig.
2)  Two of her favorite things are to play patty cake and to sing "Popcorn Popping on the Apricot Tree."  She tries so hard to make the popcorn popping motion with her hands.
3)  We think that her favorite food is string cheese, but she really is not very picky.  She will eat just about anything that we give her.
4)  She LOVES her brother.  She gets very excited to see Parker and is constantly laughing at him.
5)  We think it will still be a little while before she walks, but she sure can get around quickly by crawling.  When she first learned to crawl, her face had a huge smile and she would giggle as she went.  She seemed so thrilled to finally get around on her own!
6)  She does not love having her hair done.  Occasionally she will keep her bows in, but she usually pulls them out shortly after I put them in.
7)  She loves to study things.  If we give her just the right thing, she will sit and study it for quite a while.  She will try all different ways to hold it and look at it.
8)  Lately, she gets so excited about a picture of Jesus that we have in her bedroom.  Whenever I get her out of her crib she starts reaching for it and waving her arms and smiling.  She'll say "Jee, Jee."  Very cute.
9)  Like most babies, she loves to jabber.  She can talk up a storm.  I often wonder what she is saying.
10 Last, we absolutely love her smiles.  All we have to do is look at her and she breaks into a smile that lights up her entire face.  She is such a good natured little girl and we love having her in our home.
Below are a few other posts that I've finally gotten around to doing!

Happy birthday to your little one. It seems like the first kid will never turn one and then you have a second kid and they turn one and you say, "When did this happen?!" Enjoy her and Parker. They are so cute!

I'm so sorry we missed her birthday celebration! It looked like so much fun! Your pictures get me excited to go down to Yuma, it should be a fun trip! I just bought some shorts to deal with the probably hot weather down there! I love the pics of Ty in the tub with your little ones...that's so fun for them! Good to see the pics, your family is so cute!
