Quick April Recap

Here are some pictures of a few things we were up to in April!  We can't believe that it is May already, but we are SO SO SO looking forward to Summer . . . or even just for the wind to stop blowing :).  Enjoy the pictures!

I took this picture one Saturday morning after I got home from running.  Dave had the kids down in the basement while he was exercising.  Apparently Kambri kept trying to crawl up to the elliptical and Dave was worried she would get hit, so he just picked her up and kept going . . . who knew when I married him that he would end up being so gosh darn talented?  I think I would fall off if I attempted that.

One of Parker's favorite things to do lately is play hide-and-seek . . . we play it frequently.  This has been my favorite hiding spot of his so far.  Gotta love this tricky kid.

Here's just a cute picture of our little sweetheart . . . sweeter now that some of her new teeth finally came  through.  She had a few rough days this month, but now she's back to her constant smiling!

Dave and I went ice skating at the Olympic Oval for a date night.  We had a great time, even though five-year-olds kept lapping us!  Although we were not the stars of the rink, we definitely improved before the night was over!

Parker entertaining himself while waiting for dinner.

Dave got some free bowling passes from work, so last Saturday we took the kids bowling.  Our biggest regret is that we didn't take our video camera.  Parker was hilarious!   He would roll the ball and then anxiously wait until it got to the pins . . . keep in mind that he always knocked some pins over because of the bumpers.  Each time a pin was knocked down he yelled louder than I knew was possible, "I SCORED!"  Then he would give Dave and myself high fives.

This was my favorite.  Each time that Dave would help Parker bowl, they would anxiously waited to see if any pins went down.  Meanwhile he rested his elbow on Dave's shoulder to await the outcome.  I was laughing so hard!

Finally, here is a picture Dave took of Parker yesterday after we got done with a painting project.  He is wearing my old t-shirt with paint all over it along with his new $5 clearance galoshes (that he insists on wearing constantly, even to bed) that I got from Wal-Mart.  He was begging Dave to play baseball with him. Never a dull moment!

Your kids are cute as always. I can see some of you in Cambri. I can picture Parker and Dave getting into their bowling game.

Opps! As soon as I posted my comment I realized I spelled Kambri's name wrong! Sorry!
