We had such a fun Christmas season and loved spending time with family. Just thought I'd share this cute face to get the year off to happy start:
We are predicting a very active year for our little Lyddi (once she is mobile)....she is showing definite signs of determination and spunk....can't wait to see all the fun she brings into our lives this year. She has spent this last week waving hi and bye, testing her vocal cords with all sorts of loud and funny expressions, and continuing her excited squeals whenever the dog is near her. Here she is below hanging out with her dad....I can't get enough of that happy little smile.

Below is our little Kam with her Christmas doll, Doc McStuffins. She has loved playing doctor with her toys. We love her active imagination and that she is CONSTANTLY singing.
Here is my favorite dialogue with Kambri this week:
Me: Hey Kam, you need to take your Barbie downstairs and put it away in the bin.
K: (in her high pitched, sweet little voice) Hmmm....how about you do it mom?
Me: Nope, you need to go put it away.
K: (cute little voice plus big cheesy smile) You just go ahead and do it okay mom?
I finally told her I would be happy to let her have dinner if she would put it away and she happily did it. This conversation is so typical of her sweet little personality....even when she doesn't want to obey, she's sweet about it....it's almost impossible to get upset with her....and when we do get upset, it BREAKS her tender little heart, so we try to be careful about how we discipline.
And Parker is as animated and fun as ever...I took the picture below while he was watching the end of the movie Homeward Bound. It's the part when the two dogs and cat finally make it home to their family. The picture doesn't do it justice but he was so HAPPY and almost emotional....and that is typical Parker. There is not a lot of in between with him as far as emotions go...we never have to wonder how he is feeling.... luckily, for the most part, he is a happy boy. In the background you can see the bottom of his new ping pong table that Santa brought. Watch out if he asks you to play...he's already giving me a run for my money...not that I'm anywhere near good at ping pong, but he plays pretty well for a five year old, in my very biased opinion.
Happy New Year!!!

Your kids are so cute!!! Lyddi has grown up so much since I last saw you. My kids are healthy again (hallelujah!) ...... so I'd love to get together sometime.
Lyddi has gotten so big. She is adorable. My boys love Doc Mcstuffins also, it is so cute to see Kam all dressed up as a doctor, she is so sweet.
I am glad that your family is doing well and had a good Christmas.
Hooray for an update!
Can I just say that I REALLY miss having you as a Visiting Teacher? I miss talking with you regularly (and I miss someone coming to my house once a month that forced me to actually clean up once in a while. HA!).
I love those kids! They are so cute!! Lyddi and Sadie will be best buds. If she's spunky and determined...they will be two peas in a pod. Love the update!
